Do You Want Some Wedding Centerpiece Ideas?

August 19, 2011.

If you want to learn about a few ideas for wedding centerpieces, then read on. First, though, we need to note that there is nothing to be ashamed of if you can’t come up with your own ideas – almost no one can, unless he already has experience with wedding decorations.

Thankfully, we have this technology called Internet where we can find thousands of articles on this topic, so there is really no need to invent anything of your own. If you haven’t guessed that yet, you will find a few ideas for your wedding centerpiece right in this article.

Our first composition incorporates candles, and the name of it is “floating candles”. Surely, you can just put candles into candlesticks, light them up, and be done with them, but that is not very original. Instead, try putting them into, for example, slices of grapefruits or oranges and place these slices into a glass bowl or a wide glass vase filled with water. Ideally, you should get a transparent bowl with “floating fruit islands”, so to speak, with the candles in the middle of those islands – very beautiful and simple to make.

We will finish this article about wedding centerpieces ideas with our next composition – the “stuffed containers”. The name, however weird it might sound, speaks for itself – we take containers and we stuff them with various … well, stuff. We prefer filling vases and baskets with things like fruits, candies, sugar, and coffee, etc., but there are more creative solutions. For example, instead of vases and baskets, you can use watermelons and pumpkins – just sculpture them so that they could be filled with “stuff”.

If you are not satisfied with our wedding centerpieces, then feel free to browse the Internet for more – there are hundreds of those ideas. You can go to wedding forums and ask people there about what they think will be a good wedding centerpiece for your wedding, too (you can also ask them a lot of other wedding related questions, be they about Chicago wedding photographers, New York wedding shops, or whatnot).
