It is important to hold the tip of the airbrush several inches away from the helmet and always be mindful of the pressure you apply on the trigger. In painting your foreground image, consider using tape if you want sharp edges and always just do so when the previous coat is already dry.
Lastly, you need to clean out your equipment after you airbrush helmet and even whenever you change colours for the design. Wash out the pigment cup and fill it in with some thinner, after this, spray it onto newspaper and then you can change the colour in your pigment cup.
