While accommodation in Goa is not an issue in general for most part of the year there is often a snag if you impulsively decide to visit Goa during the peak season which is between the months of September to March . Also while the peak season may be between September to March, the super peak period for a holiday in Goa is from around 22nd December till around 8th January when the hotels are filled to the brim and accommodation is prime real estate on rent. However in the off season periods from April to August these same hotel properties are available for a stay for nearly a discount extending in many cases upto over 60-70%.
The rule of the thumb to stay at a hotel in Goa is that the longer you stay ,the cheaper it gets in terms of packages on offer both in the season as well as the off season period and it therefore needs a meticulous check on detail to arrive at the best option suitable for you and your budgets.
